About Us

The Founder President of our Church was Mrs. Alice Foster who with help from her husband purchased the Orchard Garden building. The members of the Church along with Alice worked tirelessly and after much hard work the Church was dedicated on January 17th 1953 by Mrs. Ella Sheridan, G.W. Dip.l, who travelled from London for the occasion. Alice remained president for 24 years until her passing to the Higher Life in January 1980.

The Church was placed in trust to further Alice’s work and vision.

Since then the Church has had several presidents and committees but has remained providing spiritual guidance, spiritual healing and a warm and friendly welcome to all who walk through the door.

We are a small but friendly organisation found in a tucked away spot in the centre of Teignmouth.  We have a Sunday Divine Service starting at 6.30pm, Clairvoyance starting at 7.30pm every Wednesday (£5 on entry, £4 for signed up members)  Healing can be available at other times.  Contact us or ask us for more info.

To become a member of our beautiful Church you must have shown a genuine interest in the Church for 6 months after which you could apply to become a member.

All membership and renewal applications are put forward to the committee for their consideration.

When a membership is accepted the new member will enjoy a host of membership benefits which include: –

• Annual member’s evenings
• Special events
• Voting privileges after 6 months’ membership
• An opportunity to support your local community Church

Membership runs from 01st January to 31st December.

In November of each year you will be sent a renewal application with details of when renewal applications need to be submitted by.

We are tucked away on the corner of Orchard Gardens!  You can see our sign from the road and there is a short path to the our entrance where a warm welcome awaits.
